Rivers in the

desert

Do you believe every person deserves access to the gospel?

The vision

God has called us to plant a church in Almería, Spain.

A sending hub with a heart for the nations—rooted in prayer, grounded in community, equipped for mission, and committed to sending.

Our 5–Step Focus

1.- Establish a House of Prayer
A space dedicated to intercession, worship, and spiritual formation.

2.- Build a Faith Community
A Christ-centered family that grows, serves, and multiplies.

3.- Plant a Missional Church
A local expression of the Kingdom focused on reaching the unreached and discipling believers.

4.- Create a Training Environment
Practical preparation for cross-cultural ministry, spiritual resilience, and mission readiness.

5.- Become a Sending Hub
A launch point for teams, workers, and church plants into Spain and beyond.

why
almería?

We didn’t choose the field;
God, the Master Strategist, did.

1.- A Highly Symbolic Region — Almería is a desert turned into a garden, gathering tribes, tongues, and nations at what once was “the ends of the earth.”

2.- A major migrant hub — Thousands of workers arriving from dozens of nations—open doors for community, discipleship, and gospel impact.

3.- Language Advantage — The only global crossroads where Spanish alone gives you immediate access to people groups that normally require years of language training.

4.- Strategic Gateway Between Continents — Direct routes to Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East—making Almería a natural launch point for teams and cross-cultural outreach.

5.- Sustainable Living for Long-Term Mission — Lower cost of living than Madrid or Barcelona, allowing families and teams to remain, grow, and multiply.

Almería is big enough to make an impact, small enough to multiply, and connected enough to send.

The plan

To serve effectively and sustainably, we have a structured and intentional path toward southern Spain.

Our desire is to arrive prepared, strong, focused, fully supported, and ready to serve.

We plan so that we can thrive, not just survive, on the field.

2026 — Vision trip
In May 2026, two of us with a team will travel to Spain for a vision trip. This will help us confirm the specific area, understand local needs, meet key contacts, and prepare some administrative steps for the move.

Our Sending Church and Missions Agency

one
team:
two
roles

Our mission advances through one united team, carrying two roles that are different in function but equal in impact. The mission only moves forward when both roles move together.

Support

The Support role stays home, yet nothing in the field is possible without it. Through prayer, spiritual and emotional covering, financial partnership and steady guidance, this role gives the mission strength, endurance, and direction.

Frontline

The Frontline role steps directly into the field—learning the language, entering the culture, building relationships, discipling new believers, and planting the church where it does not yet exist.

What role has God called you to?

The vision is too big for us alone. We need the Church’s support as we carry the gospel to the ends of the earth.
